Current Employee - Fulltiime in Houston, TX

I have been working at Shiseido Cosmetics full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Awesome company to work for. My exec and coordinator take out the guess work out of math. So I just have run my counter and see to the business

    Cons

Its not well advertised here in the South. Its not popular but I dont mind grabbing people or selling aggressively but the pay at certain stores can be better. So be careful where you get hired and make sure you find out how popular your location is.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Dont be shy with the customer pull people frim every where other wise 8 hours will feel like 16. Do facials and if your not comfortable touching people dont take the job your doing a disservice to yourself and this wonderful company. Youll leaving money on the table if you cant or wont demonstrate the product youll always get the sale if you show how it works and its texture cause its luxurious.

    Application Details

I applied in-person. The process took a dayinterviewed at Shiseido Cosmetics.

    Interview Details

I talked with cosmetic manager and was hired the same day. I told the cosmetic manager that I had worked with another cosmetic company for 13 years. I told her I was able to do cold calling in order to bring former customers back to the store. I also shared that I was able to market counter so it would be attractive and inviting. Since I was use to doing facials, I added that I could do that at the counter so customer would be able to experience the product and therefore try before they buy.
