With our premiere resort properties strategically located in Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Georgia, Massachusetts and Florida, you are spoiled for choice when it comes time to selecting a vacation property.

The growing popularity of the Silverleaf brand has led to the eventual expansion to 13 properties. In 1999 Forbes Magazine ranked Silverleaf in the Top 100 of the Top 200 Best Small Business Companies and we have successfully secured relationships with vital organizations such as Resort Condominiums International, The American Resort Development Association and the Dallas Chamber of Commerce.


Silverleaf has been providing quality family vacations since 1989. Our original seven resorts were located in Texas and Missouri. After we moved from a privately held company to a public company in 1997, we added resorts in additional states.

In 1998 we added Oak 'N Spruce Resort in Massachusetts. In 1999, we opened Apple Mountain Resort in Georgia and in 2000, we added Seaside Resort in Texas. Most recently, in 2005 we added Orlando Breeze in Orlando, Florida to the Silverleaf family. In May 2011, Silverleaf Resorts was acquired by Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. and as a result, became a private company.

We continue to look for opportunities to grow and to provide better services to our members with each new year including new resort locations, additional services and unique new products.

    I have been working at Silverleaf Resorts as an intern for less than a year

    As another Recruiting Intern wrote and I agree with her: This company is designed for those that can work at a fast pace and also can overcome moments of boredom. Event Sales Agents and Event Marketing Reps need to be people with lively personalities and people who can quickly overcome their fears. Those employees in these positions need to be outgoing and feel comfortable engaging and speaking with all types of people. As a Recruiting Intern, I face much of the same. I have to be lively and unafraid, in order to recruit quality candidates for my company. Other than that, I love my experiences here, best company, Director, and Field Marketing Recruiter ever!!!


    Although the commission may appear or seem hard to obtain since it is a salary vs. commission pay base, it is actually not difficult to obtain at all if you come to work and do the best that you can.
    Because there is a $12 base rate for Event Marketing Promotion Representatives or if commission accumulated is higher, I do not believe there are any cons to the pay at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    No advice thus far, the Field Marketing Recruiter for NY Terri Hiltz is my direct supervisor whom I report directly to and she is really wonderful to work for. She is motivating, encouraging, very fair, and has such a positive attitude and energy.

    I applied in-person. The process took 5 days - interviewed at Silverleaf Resorts in March 2014.

    Interview Details

    Very sweet and outgoing. Interview was thorough and comfortable! My friend worked for Silverleaf and gave me their recruiters number. I spoke with her on the phone and then came to the office for an interview with her.
