I worked at Smith & Hawken full-time (more than 5 years)

Lots of opportunity to use training and leadership skills outside of my store. Casual working environment. Really felt valued for the work that I did. The client base we developed made the work that much better.

Losing this job due to the company closing. The experience of liquidating the stock and closing out the store was pretty tough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sadly there is no advice as the company has now closed.

Total waste of time, they hire just about everyone. If you can remember a time where you were proud of something that you did or a time where you convinced somone to do something than you will get the job. Easy as that.
