At SoftRock, “Whatever it Takes” is not just a tagline; it’s an attitude. Since our inception in 2005, SoftRock has never shied away from taking chances and being different.
Many companies use catch phrases like “corporate culture” or “visionary solutions” to hide their bland work environment and uninspired employees. Not us. SoftRock challenges the norm. We don’t play it safe. We work hard, but we play hard, too.
Let’s start with a $1,600 investment and build that into a $250 Million dollar business in less than ten years.
We like flag football so why don’t we create our own league with stats, drone footage, uniforms and make every game a tailgate party.
Let’s go into the employment and education space with an untested concept and become the fastest website in history to register one million users.
The largest HR convention is coming to Orlando so we should throw a “Rock of Ages” party for 1,000 VIP guests with four tribute bands and have chauffeured cars, open bars, five buffets and do it all in two weeks.
Let’s adopt a local children’s home for the holiday season and give them every present they could ever want. Because, why not?
Sales support technology is antiquated, so why don’t we build something better; a platform that allows for both unparalleled customer interaction and specialists to double their income. Why don’t we build a game changer?
Let’s kick off Spring Break with a massive party and let’s get our CEO to dress up like the George Michael of Wham! and karaoke to “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go”.
Why limit cookouts to just the 4th of July? Let’s have one every week and theme them so we can deck out the building and have employees dress up and win prizes.
To all statements, SoftRockers have, and always will respond with “Whatever it Takes!”
SoftRock isn’t just our company. It’s our environment. Imagine a place where you are challenged, inspired and are not just able to, but required to make a difference. Imagine a place that doesn’t just want you to work but wants to put your ideas to work. That place is SoftRock and those people are our SoftRockers!
At SoftRock we do everything we can to create an environment that drives innovation and rewards outstanding results. Our company exudes the extraordinary and focuses on two keywords for success; transparency and communication. We understand that employees perform at their highest when they’re comfortable and have the support they need.
We work hard, play hard! How about a company that believes employee interaction should not take place just in the conference room but also on the football field. Where room names are based on comic books and superheroes. Where the norm is what other companies can’t pull off or wouldn’t even think of doing. Our culture includes:
- Annual tennis tournament
- Volleyball and softball teams
- Poker nights
- Massive holiday parties
- Weekly themed cookouts
- Nerf or water balloon attacks
- Costume contests and dress up days
- Community outreach programs
- Free food and drink all day, every day
- Our own flag football league
- Game rooms with foosball, Xbox, Wii and more
And most importantly…happy employees producing amazing results! #wearesoftrock
#wearesoftrock isn't just a tagline.
SoftRock is a company based in Central Florida with hundreds of local employees. We recognize that successful companies not only have a responsability to their employees but to the community as whole.
With that mindset, SoftRock makes consistent efforts to utilize our strengths and energy for the benefit of those outside of our organization. Here are some videos detailing recent activites that many SoftRockers helped to coordinate, support or participated.
What exactly does SoftRock do?
Businesses come to SoftRock when they need help in client acquisition, engagement and support. We work with the client to design and implement technology that streamlines their processes. Media, advertising and marketing are essential components of any company's business plan but this often means neglecting the meaningful personal relationships. So where most look to use technology to remove direct interaction with users, we utilize our technology to help clients establish one on one relationships that encourage customer retention and growth.

I have been working at SoftRock full-time (More than a year)
The people who work here really are the difference between being happy and wanting to come to work and the jobs I've had before where I dreaded each day and second.
It's a bit of a drive for me as I live in Altamonte and the office is in MetroWest. I've been taking roads other that I4 lately though and it's been better.
Advice to Management
Keep hiring good people!

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SoftRock.
It was a two- step process: First they bring you in for a group interview. Once you enter, they take a picture of you, and give you a badge to wear. You then are called in to meet with a manager, who sits you in a green room and asks, "what do you think of the company?" and records your 30 second response. Upon doing so, you're taken to a room and you watch a few of the training managers present the company and explain the different job titles. After that, you meet with a hiring manager again, who asks you a few questions, looks over your resume, and tells you to expect to hear an answer soon. I didn't expect the interview to take 3+ hours, but it did. Some people walked out because they weren't expecting it to last so long. The second part of the interview is a "Test-drive" where they have you do a bunch of activities including a typing test and a general IQ test. This is a full-day, so expect to be there for at least 8 hours. This day was pretty fun, as they have you dress up, take pictures, and role-play in a "FBI vs Criminals" theme. After that, they call you into a room and let you know whether you'll be a good fit for the company, or not.
