I have been working at SourceMedia (More than 3 years)
I have nothing but great things to say about SourceMedia! I have worked at SourceMedia for almost four years and had the opportunity to get involved in different departments from subscription marketing, event marketing, user experience, circulation, lead gen and digital advertising and during this time was given the opportunity to move into management, and I couldn't be happier! SourceMedia is a rapidly growing company that has some very strong investor backing from Observer Capital, who really shares the company's vision for the company's development and growth... The work culture at SourceMedia is truly one of the best I've been apart of and I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day. Regular social gatherings such as pizza making, wine tasting, Hudson river cruisers by the statue of liberty, bowling, etc.. are a must attend and great way to network with your colleagues. If you want to surround yourself in a digital savvy work culture with smart, energetic people, and work for managers that recognize your success, then there is no better place than SourceMedia! Additionally, the company's headquarters in the financial center of Manhattan overlook the Hudson river and statue of liberty!
The only con (which results from a pro) to SourceMeda is the fact that you should not get comfortable, because change is around the corner. This is attributed to the company's fast growth and digital expansion and with growing departments, you often see shifts in teams, and in managers. These changes are reflective of the need to accommodate the constantly evolving digital media and publishing landscape.
Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing! I commend the transparency and open lines of communication between management and employees. I am also impressed by how management listens to, and then acts upon, suggestions and requests of their employees (within reason, of course).

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at SourceMedia.
Great process, spoke with two different people and checked within my history and what I am currently looking for. They asked good questions, gave great representation of the job position, and allowed for me to ask questions about the workings of the office.
