Current Employee - Field Sales Representative

I have been working at Springs Window Fashions full-time (more than 3 years)

Flexible schedule, use of company car, decent benefits, bonus potential based on performance of territory.

As a workaholic I tend to work way more hours than most FSR's. Sales reporting needs to more accurate for the Reps in the field. Being pulled in several directions on a daily basis can be stressful, take one thing at a time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please get the sales reporting fixed. I look at this on a daily basis and it has not been accurate for this whole year. What are my sales goals for the year in dollars? How can I get to these goals if I do not have accurate reporting on a daily basis. Communication needs to be better to those in the field. Our support never responds back to emails that I have sent on suggestions to make the navigation system better or the call reporting more accurate.

    Application Details

I applied online – interviewed at Springs Window Fashions in October 2013.

    Interview Details

Started the interview process in late 2013 and was told they planned to have someone on board by early January. I had 2 phone interviews as well as a face to face interview in the field. I felt everything went well and the feedback I received as I progressed seemed quite positive in all 3 interviews. However, it became clear to me after the last interview and I had not heard back for weeks afterwards that they had decided who they wanted to hire. I understood that the person I would be reporting to was also looking at a person he knew from his previous company. Frankly, I would hope that they would not have wasted my time if they really knew who they were going to hire in the first place. I was patient, they checked my references and then I was told the position was offered to the other candidate.
