I worked at Stanford University as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Stanford takes very good care of their employees. I was impressed with the professional demeanor with which I was treated. They made my salary competitive with other interns (more than competitive at $16/ hr). I served as an intern at San Jose State University, Evergreen Valley Community College and local hospitals. Stanford was never concerned with the politics of these positions. There were many off work considerations, as well. As an intern you were treated as if you were a regular employee with all the benefits and standing.

    Cons

Stanford was a very large campus and thus location of work site to parking was tasking. There wasn't a lot I can say negative about this position.

Filled out the online application and was then first contacted by hum resources. After that I had a series of in person interviews. Three of these were interviews with a group of people. The last was a 1:1 interview.
