    Pros

    normally steady work, your position is what you make of it, benefits package is considerably better than in private sector

    Cons

    it is a government agency, your position is what you make of it. not much available in promotion potential, go for what you can get at the outset

    The application and interview process is quite lengthy and somewhat complicated. I was required to first submit a writing assignment before the interview, which was mainly to determine what my writing skill level was. The interview was conducted with three managers. It was not very stressful and the questions were straightforward.
