I worked at State of North Carolina

    Pros

Excellent benefits. If you have the willingness and desire, you can learn a lot. If you lack initiative, this is not the place for you.

    Cons

Wages could be more competitive with the private sector. Seems to be very management heavy. More worker-bees would be an improvement.

Took a long time to get a callback. Interviewer was engaged but did not seem very excited about doing interviews. Was not given a timeframe when I might hear something.
