I have been working at Stein Eriksen Lodge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People are great middle managment and line employees make the company good benifits: 401k, health etc. good experience for hotels.

    Cons

Low pay compaired to other hotels in the area, Very hard property to work at (garage is huge and spread out in a hapazard way, running miles a day for cars and there are still days when you do not have enough parking for events) No elevators to most rooms, you carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs and across courtyards sometimes. Seem to be understaffed almost all the time.

    Advice to Management

Being the top hotel in the state (and one of the best in the world) you should be paying employees better, and have enough employees to complete the job.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Stein Eriksen Lodge (Park City, UT) in January 2013.

    Interview

I applied online and got a call the same day. I went to an in-person interview that week. The HR rep interviewing me was friendly and asked all the normal questions. He then took me to meet the Spa Director who asked basically the same questions. I left and before fifteen minutes had passed I received a phone call offering me the job.
