    Application Details

I applied online. The process took a dayinterviewed at Sterling Pathology National in August 2011.

    Interview Details

Called to set up a face to face with HR and Medical Director for early morning. They are located right off the freeway in a nice building, and are currently expanding their lab area so construction and safety protocols are underway. Business setting, business attire. First met with HR who gave me a tour of the lab and offices, only three other individuals were in the lab/office as of 8am. They often start later but Lab Assistants shifts are 1am to 8am or 4pm to 1am, Full time. This was not listed on the job description nor in email communication with HR.
Conversation with Medical Director was brief and overseen by HR standing in the doorway, with a young man sitting in the office, no one introduced me to the young man as he sat poking at his cell phone.
It appeared the my experience was more than that of a standard trainee but with a willingness to learn I had hoped for more attention than minutes.
Total interview time one hour. I was left with HR's card and a standard application of employment to be mailed back if I chose to pursue to opportunity further.
I felt that this interview was to see if "we" would be a good fit.
