I have been working at Steward Health Care System full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Working in Information Services, the leadership is great. There are some very high-quality, talented people. Things move and change quickly, but under an environment and culture that supports the ability to successfully execute change. Good work/life balance.

    Cons

There is a lot of change required. While many processes exist, documentation is thin making repetition harder. Not much communication from organizational leadership downward on organizational direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

While the communication department does a great job communicating to the public and patients about patient-centric initiatives, senior leadership needs to work harder on communicating company direction to staff.

HR will call you then schedules you to meet the Access Manager. The Access Manager does not return phone calls and cancels often so it can be very challenging to meet with her. She will ask you a few questions, but largest concern is do you have a independent license.
