Our Mission

Right from the beginning, Sunrise’s mission has been to champion quality of life for all seniors. Sunrise's Founders, Paul and Terry Klaassen, developed their resident-centered philosophy of care based on deep convictions about how to achieve the best quality of life for each individual. Monday, February 13th, 2012  3:00-3:30 PM PT/ET on the CW network Dr. Drew’s Job Fair

For the first time in television history, everyone in the studio audience will be given a gift that will forever alter the course of their lives.  Last year, Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers asked viewers what they wanted to change about their lives. With unemployment looming near 9%, the show was BOMBARDED with emails from thousands of people who said they needed to get back to work, but couldn’t even get a call back after submitting resumes online.  Dr. Drew and the show began a three month long mission to try and help our unemployed viewers by creating a "Putting America back to Work" initiative.  Collaborating with LinkedIn, we partnered with a dozen companies looking for qualified candidates, and did a shout out to viewers looking for work.  Ten thousand resumes later, we created an intimate Job Fair that allowed company reps to do face-to-face interviews with hundreds of hand-picked job-seekers. The surprise that is revealed LIVE for the applicants on the Lifechangers stage is truly unforgettable.
