I have been working at Sunrun full-time (More than a year)
Great values and mission - when you work for Sunrun, you feel like you are making a difference. Ample advancement opportunities, if you work hard, you will be given the tools to advance your career. Employee perks, great corporate culture (at HQ), family atmosphere.
Start-up environment! We learn as we go - sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's very stressful! Most solar vets call this industry the "solar-coaster" - it's very high-paced and things change very quickly.
Advice to Management
Keep investing in your employees and making sure that everyone has a clear path to success. As things get hectic, don't forget to reward others for hard work.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Sunrun (San Luis Obispo, CA).
One phone interview. Very straightforward and to the point. Explained the job. Asked why I wanted the job. Asked what my strengths were and what experiences I've had. Phone interview was with someone from San Francisco in the HR department. The second and final interview was in person with two supervisors. They elaborated on the previous questions. Asked about computer skills. Communications skills. How you handle conflict etc
- Why do you want to work for Sunrun? 1 Answer
Let us know if we're missing any workplace or industry recognition –
Sunrun makes going solar--and saving money on electric bills--about as easy as it gets. We purchase the solar panel system and work with the most trusted, local installers to get the panels on the roof. We charge a low, locked-in rate for the solar power the system produces and also take care of the maintenance, monitoring and insurance. Too good to be true? Nope, it's just Sunrun helping everyone and their wallet look awesome.
