Managment understood and did its best to connect to the employees. They valued hard work and rewarded accordingly as well as loyalty on the job.
The biggest challenge they had and I had as an employee is the disconnect from what TDS provides to the customer. The telecom industry is one of the worst appreciated industries to work in. Without realizing your value to the customer, how does the customer value you?
Advice to Management
Emphasize on local strategies rather than company wide marketing plans.
