    I have been working at TMS (Technical Marketing Specialists)

    Pros

    Comprehensive benefits; even though it's a call center, you have your own nice, clean cubicle; the other customer service people are nice; working at the GSK location, you have a great, inexpensive cafeteria; beautiful building...

    Cons

    You are very scripted; it's not true customer service, more of a cover-the-corporate-butt kind of job; GSK seems like a good company, but TMS is not and you are caught in the middle. If you don't brown nose, you have no chance of moving up. TMS stinks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat customer service people like people, not robots.

    There was a telephone interview and in-person interviews with two people. They were very standard with absolutely no surprises.

    • This is not truly a "customer service " position. You are restricted as to what you can say to the customers because we are dealing with pharmaceuticals and there are legal issues. Will you be satisfied with that?   View Answer
