I worked at Tai Sophia Institute full-time (More than a year)
Friendly co-workers, academic environment, dedicated employees.
Tai Sophia is small and very cliquish. Employment includes an indoctrination into the Institute culture, including a employment-required seminar with lots of hand-waving and an assortment of new age philosophies. Management plays favorites and the Institute hires a high percentage of their own graduates as staff. Tai Sophia is also seriously in debt to a variety of lenders, many of whom are former students and faculty. They haven't paid on that debt in years. I really have no idea how they maintain their accreditation.
Advice to Management
Stop treating this University like a family. It's too big and has become dysfunctional. And pay your debts.
