Fantastic company to work for - big enough for opportunity, small enough to make a difference

I worked at Tarmac full-time for more than 5 years

Great people - much higher quality of people in the company than a decade ago
Excellent car scheme, pensions, 25 days holiday, bonus
Work hard but not expected to work silly hours. Work/life balance is respected

Some parts of the company operate a command and control type structure
Lots of change in the organisation which might not suit everyone

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is still lots of opportunity to build on the great foundation you have. It's a great company but it could be even better. Keep learning and improving and don't be afraid to steal good ideas from other industries and companies
