I worked at Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine full-time (Less than a year)
I'm having problems finding a pro. The students were sincere and good to be around. If you do not have to be around the owner, the rest of the academic staff is easy to work with.
Salaried professionals are treated like fast food workers by the owner. Radical changes are required instantly. Students are frequently used as high level staff for the purposes of satisfying accreditation paperwork. ( Example: the Registrar is frequently a student) The primary purpose of the school is to make money for the owner and the needs of the paying students come last.
Advice to Management
Let someone else run the school. Consider updating the payroll and internal systems.
