    I have been working at Texas Engineering Extension Service as an intern (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Work very well with college students.
    - Provided unique opportunities in curriculum development, IT, and marketing and web development.
    -Good learning environment.

    Cons

    - Low pay, they have a large pool of cheap labor in CS and they know it.
    - Location.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire outside the system family more and bring in some new talent.

    It is a government position so they follow the entire procedure there about job posting and all of that good stuff. That being said, you had better know somebody on the field that currently works out there if you expect to be able to get a job out there. Those jobs go fast for student workers.
