    Pros

Good management and room for advancement. Flexible schedule if you are a student taking classes. Expensive tabs means higher tips as well.

    Cons

Business can be slow sometimes during the summer months. Also there is no automatic gratuity for parties of 8 or more which can be scary.

    Advice to Management

Need to crack down on employees a little more. There is sometimes rampant laziness. Being a good worker is more than just being good with tables.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took a weekinterviewed at Texas Land and Cattle (San Antonio, TX) in July 2014.

    Interview

minimal. I mostly listened to the General manager tell me about himself and his style. He did not ask me many questions. The kitchen manager described how he ran the kitchen. He did not ask many questions either.
