I have been working at The Art Institutes full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get to work with students and faculty in an academic setting. The people who work here are almost always very nice and they are people-people. The facility at AiW is OK, not the latest and greatest, but not falling apart either. Does not seem to be into scamming students into attending. Great faculty work here, but many have unfortunately been let go or have moved on...

    Cons

The IT and WiFi in building could be better. The turn-over is crazy high. Corporate dictates a lot of what happens at the campus. They don't spend much on developing the faculty/staff or invest in newer technology / furniture in building.

    Advice to Management

get rid of under-performers and invest in the people who really want to be there.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at The Art Institutes (San Diego, CA).

    Interview

First of all, the ADA position is pretty much an admissions rep. Also, they do a drug test so for anyone on drugs, just be aware. The interview was pretty basic. They were just asking why I want this position and what I can add. They said it is sales and they do check everyday on apps. They were asking about my experience with high school students as well.
