    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

    Interview

Very typical interview process. One phone interview followed by an on-site.

The hiring manager seemed extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The team was also extremely well qualified and experienced. The whole process took about 2 weeks. If you are interviewing for a position here, keep in mind that you should accept the offer only as your last resort. The AJC is a dying business.

    Negotiation

I was able to negotiate an extra 5% to the base salary.
