I have been working at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Work in a setting where you can freely have Gospel conversations
In a setting where you can meet new people and learn a lot from them
    Low stress situation
    Flexible time schedule

    Cons

It is very challenging to progress and be promoted
Most of the work is very monotonous
Some of management can be self-righteous and demeaning to employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It feels there is a major lack of communication between us and management on expectations and overall vision of projects. Be clear in what you want to see be delivered.

    Reasons for Declining

An offer to extend my time was given but I had to decline because I lost my daughter to death and needed to care for my grandkids. I needed time to get situated, move into a bigger place, get the kids back and forth to school and etc...
