It was a great people environment, while it lasted. Projects were very impactful and engaged with the senior most levels of companies in their business, HR and IT organizations. The model nicely reinforced the three lines of business: Executive Education (Multi-client and Custom Ed), Multi-client Research Projects, and high-level advisory services.
It's dead now. The Concours Group was acquired by nGenera in 2007. In 2008, ranks of Concours people were decimated as nGenera turned itself into a software company.

The company provides strategy and information technology consulting services to clients in North America and Europe, including giants such as BT Group, GlaxoSmithKline, International Paper, and Johnson & Johnson. Concours Group offers executive education courses on Internet strategy and management techniques through custom seminars and conferences. The company, which was founded in 1997 by chairman and CEO Ronald Christman, withdrew its plans for an IPO in 2003.
