I have been working at The Connection full-time

    Pros

One of the best work/life balances I have ever experienced. You are going to work hard (very hard at times) in the office, but when it comes time for family that always comes first.

This job has pushed my level of business creativity to a level I never thought possible. If you love puzzles and problem solving you came to the right place. Every day presents a new challenge, and rarely is it ever the same thing twice.

    Cons

My con can also be a pro in many ways. The organization is under going a revitalization, and adding many new service offerings and clients. Much of this is begin driven from shake up of the top brass over the last couple years. It has really made the office fun again, but also made many of us who have been there a long time have to completely relearn what we already knew.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep bringing in the new client's, and adding these new services. It is a lot of work, but the feeling around the office is that this new direction will allow the company to be around for another 30+ years!

    Application Details

I applied through other source. The process took 3 daysinterviewed at The Connection in March 2014.

    Interview Details

I responded to a a classified ad and they were hiring 105 new people for a short term project. At the end of the interview you were immediately offered a job and told to go to a different office to take a basic typing speed test. There were approximately 200 people interviewed that day in the lobby of a building in the downtown area. 105 of us were hired for a project which lasted all of 10 days at most.

    Interview Questions
    • How would you handle a difficult customer who was not satisfied with the outcome of the product?   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
There was no negotiation, it was a matter of "We pay $8 per hour, take it or leave it." You were told all the rules for everything you did and their motto of "to be early is on time, to be on time is to be late and to be late is unacceptable"
