Sinking paper that tries to save money by underpaying and firing their content-producing employees.

I have been working at The Copenhagen Post

    Pros

It's a flexible environment - essentially freelance. Because no-one really knows what they're doing, it's pretty easy to get away with anything. There are good perks like free tickets, meals, etc.

    Cons

There's seemingly no direction from management, and as such, it's difficult to understand what they expect - which can be frustrating to no end. The bar is incredibly low in terms of content and as such, it doesn't inspire confidence in those who create content.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn your business. Take an online publishing class, and learn newspaper layout. Invest in the talent, and cut the fat of those who don't produce regularly solid work. Hire staff writers, pay them well, and change the way you look at revenue generation.
