    I have been working at The Forum Group full-time (more than 8 years)


    After being with this firm for close to eight years I think I can fairly speak to some of the strengths of the firm. The owner of the firm, Frank Fusaro, supports his employees and fosters a culture of those who prove successful can grow their businesses in a non-micro managed environment. I can't speak to some of the negative reviews specifically, but personally have had many opportunities to leave for other firms and have been at larger multi-nationals before joining Forum. It's unique to have an owner so personally involved and supportive as Frank who doesn't simply focus on the bottom line and the staff turnover most likely much lower than other staffing agencies I have worked in previously. I have never been a paid a dime less of commissions that were owed to me and feel like the compensation structure is more than fair in regards to the competition and pretty transparent. If you are a recruiter with solid contacts in your area of specialization Frank will invest in you to make sure you can build a successful desk at Forum.


    There have been some growing pains with regards to upgrading technology across the board, but the firm has recently invested a significant amount of time and money to have this improved including a totally state of the art new recruiting database. As others have mentioned the benefits could be better but costs have gone up for reasons outside of Forum's control. The training program for new recruiters could be improved but this is being closely looked at and is improving. In some ways the firm has been too loyal with some long term employees who didn't produce, but there is a renewed energy with some of the old guard having retired and brining in younger, more engaged consultants.

    Keep pushing new ideas, technology, and upgrading the talent in the firm, reward high producing teams who make the business thrive.

    Interview Details

    I responded to an advertisement. I spoke with an individual that set up an in person meeting. In one minute being in this office I could tell that this was not a professional environment. I met with two people that were nice but not current with modalities of what recruiting is in today's world. The office is old, the ATS they just switched to is not a good ATS. The vibe of the office is not welcoming.

    Very dynamite agencies out there and this is not one of them. Waste of my time interviewing.
