I worked at The Search Agency (More than 3 years)

Great group of people, antiquated technology but laser focus on growth through service. A bit of a churn and burn shop for some and a springboard to greater things for others. Depends on the individual I guess.

Like I said it's a but if a churn and burn shop. Folks come in and learn what they can then they are either quick to leave for better opportunities elsewhere or just sit complacantly till the next re-org.

    Advice to Management

Don't rebrand, instead just add the tag-line "...and so much more..." since the industry has shifted away from purely search. Dump the technology side to save on costs and focus on building new age tools to enhance the service side of the business.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Search Agency (Los Angeles, CA).

They asked some good questions and the entire interview process was pretty seamless. The job description not communicated clearly, though. I was impressed with how smart the people interviewing me were (compared to those at my previous job). In retrospect, the job I was given was much different than what I had expected.
