    Pros

Good place to work with fair compensation. I am proud to work here & like what I do. I have a good opinion of Bob Page even though I've literally never spoken to him, so he must be doing something right. I've heard that they are sending home all positions that can to work from home eventually, so this is a major pro though not confirmed yet, though I do know of a few departments that are starting.

    Cons

Obviously, the shuttles. They suck. Taking down some of the benefits of nursing staff siting needing to prepare for hard times economically and then boasting about all of the new construction projects and hospital wings they're building. They tend to promote people they shouldn't. They don't give enough training to their inexperienced managers. The managers can enforce or not enforce pretty much any policy they want, and you get wide extremes of this depending on what department you work in.

    Advice to Management

Don't party with your employees. Being besties with one makes it suck for everyone else in more than one way.

    Application

I applied in-person – interviewed at The University of Kansas Hospital (Kansas City, KS).

    Interview

Lengthy process. Waited more than four weeks to hear anything from initial application. Met with panel of managers and staff. Very nice. Unfortunately, no feed back after that from HR. They need to update their website once position is filled.
