Improving office culture and management at least listens to employees concerns and is attempting to address them. Visibility to management is great, and most of management is laid back and approachable tho some need to go. There aren't many companies where the CEO may know your name and actually talk to you, or ask for input on a consistent basis on how to improve the company. Being smaller, the company is more nimble and can implement policy changes or process changes quicker. Good benefits, location, flexible work hours depending on the department. Colleagues are friendly and the size of the office makes it a much more collaborative environment.

Being a smaller company, ones career path may be limited. Although change can be good, there is almost too much change at the moment. There isn't a lot of employee development, but that is on Management's radar and most departments certainly support continuing learning to meet ones needs. High turnover in some departments, and changes should be made in management, especially in Finance. Pay may be lower than average. Company is a niche company so growth may be limited.

One on One with Manager and U.S. Controller, causal review of resume and general questions. They are pretty desperate in General Accounting as the turn-over is very high. No Test and Additional Screenings. Overall competent Controller. The department is run by middle aged women, so if this is your cup of tea, go for it.
