I have been working at Thomasville Furniture full-time (more than 3 years)

There are some really good people (at all levels) that are always doing their best and make the job seem palatable at times.

They are far outweighed by clueless drones in upper management backslapping each other and their answer to profits (that they are responsible for but cannot seem to obtain through their mismanagement, apathy and 'asleep-at-the-switch' management decisions have provided) is to close shop in locations (because it has to be someone else's fault, right?... cant be theirs... because they are management and they... oh yeah, thats right...responsible for managing the company into this mess... Nah! as they push their flacid, slack face back into the trough of bonus's. The solution should be mass layoffs rather than advertise and provide meaningful stewardship... because they are late for their next golf date or management meeting in Vegas.

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Thomasville Furniture in July 2014.

    Interview Details

had an interview about my background. I twas told I had a huge skill set,..but the annoying thing was after my interview the catty people working in the store demanded I talk to them before I walked out. They ask all kinds of questions,..but I can tell you after I was hired, that it was more about adhering to some rigid policies by their foreign owners from China. Company seems to be going through alot of turnover,.. and I don't think it's because of the company's bankruptcy. It's about the store managers. Their Tempe location is a snake pit... run if you can.
