I have been working at Thompson Coburn full-time
Executive management invests a lot of time and resources into the company and the people that work there. There are high standards held for every position and it's a place with a lot of integrity from the leaders. Attorneys respect staff, treat them well. Friendly atmosphere.
From the staff side, a common complaint is everyone wants to be involved in the work, but no one wants to do the actual work. People want to pass the buck but take the credit or micromanage.
Advice to Management
Believe in your people. Micromanage less. Allow for growth and development from your employees. Talk to them, listen to what they say and respect their ideas and opinions.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thompson Coburn (Saint Louis, MO) in April 2015.
Once I completed a lengthy online questionnaire and submitted my resume, I was contacted by an HR Recruiter. The recruiter set up a time for me to come in and meet. Once there, I met with the recruiter for about 30 minutes before meeting with the people who would be my immediate supervisors.
