I have been working at Toppers Pizza full-time (more than 8 years)RecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEORecommendsPositive OutlookApproves of CEO
The leadership at Toppers is great. I've never worked for a CEO that is so driven and challenges his team in such a positive way. It's great to see driven people rise to the top in this company and to work alongside so many special talents. So much room for growth through expansion and building the brand! The truth is that I look forward to coming in on a daily basis and seeing the people that I work with, it's fun. If I had the money, Toppers is a concept that I would invest in.
Like any company there are downfalls, but with Toppers they are too minor to rate.
Advice to Management
Keep up the great work. Always put people that are driven and care for people in leadership roles!
Getting an Interview
Getting an Interview

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks – interviewed at Toppers Pizza (West Allis, WI) in August 2012.
I saw the ad on Craigslist and called the number provided. I went to an existing store (they were hiring for an upcoming store) to grab an application. After I filled it out, I called back and basically was told to come to open interviews which I missed because of my other job. So, there was a last-minute open interview session the following week that I attended on my off day. I went to the interview at about 2PM, was asked questions, and he called a few hours later (like 10PM) and offered me the job. He was kinda cute, so I kinda flirted my way through it. I was surprised at how young he was to be a GM of a new store. He was really cool, though. But, anyway, I started orientation a few days later.

Basically, he told me to come to orientation tomorrow. I don't know the negotiation just yet, but I will be back to update.
Making great food that people connect over. That’s our thing. We know we’re not flying rocket ships to the moon or signing treaties, but we take our job seriously. We live by a set of core values that pretty much sum up everything about us. We have fun. We love what we do. And we want anyone that’s interested in joining us to know exactly what they’re getting into.
