    I have been working at TransFirst full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    The commission potential is what drew me in during the interview. It's a great atmosphere, and the people are all friendly. Three weeks of training was great - that's three weeks more than I got at some other places.

    Cons

    The base is low, but the commission potential pretty much makes up for that. Some negativity from some co-workers, but it's clear that this is a sales floor. Don't gripe, make your calls and the money will follow.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Most of the people there are great, but the few negative attitudes need to be addressed. Nothing breaks motivation like a whiney neighbor who would rather moan than actually do the work expected of him/her.

    Interview Details

    The hiring process was very impressive. Two phone interviews, 2 personal interviews, including sitting with current sales people to experience the job first hand. That is a real benefit to see and experience the atmosphere prior to your final interview. Met with the 2 sales managers individually, which gave me a sense of their different styles.
