The senior management truly cares for its employees, and wants them to be successful. I have witnessed personally several occasions where the senior management of the company has treated the employees as internal customers. On one occasion, the Executive VP singled out a current employee that had shown up at a job fair looking for a transfer opportunity. It was not the correct avenue for the employee, and so the EVP took him aside, made several phone calls to regional HR personnel, and set him up with an appointment to discuss his options. The owner of the company puts his direct office number on his business cards, which every employee has access to.
It is a company that is working to grow aggressively in a highly competitive field. This puts enormous pressure on its employees.
Advice to Management
Don't be afraid to open the purse strings to get things done. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money.
