    I have been working at Travelocity


    Great work culture. In-fact parent company Sabre Holdings, is highly recognized as one of the great places to work in India. You get an opportunity to work with a very diversified group of people. People who have been travel agents to flight attendants to iPhone app developers to website designers. The floor is always open for new ideas, recommendations.. people are passionate about travel. People are proud about Travelocity brand. All this creates a high-energy level in the work place and also inspires you to pursue opportunities that match your interests.


    There is not much career advancement or an accelerated growth. You do have promotions, recognitions, performance feedback like everywhere else..but if you are looking for fast-track career advancement, higher level of responsibilities, leadership grooming etc.. you may be a little disappointed. The overall growth-appetite of people is less when compared to other fast growing ecommerce companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You have a brand. You have a promise to keep. Don't ever lose that brand value. Downsize teams, Focus on doing cool, innovative things with 10 people where there are currently 100 not doing much. You have people who love the brand. You got to give them something new and worthwhile and not let them go!
