Tree Top is a solid company that will stay in the Yakima area for a long time. They have a great employee base that are committed to the job, which is refreshing.
Top down leadership with poor communication. They have old-School thinking on everything besides fruit technology.
Advice to Management
Have fun and create an enjoyable work environment. Oh yeah... Stop having ice cream socials for adults when you feel bad for not inviting them to company events.

I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Tree Top.
distributed to the food science department graduates mailing list, received a phone call to arrange an on site interview 5 days after submitting resume online. Interviewed by two person in their casual / working suit, and lasts about an hour. They asked some work related practical and behavioral questions. but during the whole interview, the only message I received from them was, this is just an entry level work that an undergraduate is more than qualified for, why are you as a graduate student apply for! Very disappointed about the job and the whole interview, if you've already think im way over qualified, why distributing your job post to graduate students' mailing list and why are you interviewing me?
