Interesting work, fast pace, dynamic. Benefits when publicly held were good, it became difficult when they went private

Tough environment with move to digital from print, at times it seemed like they were trying things a little to late to make an impact

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    West Coast Tribune Position Interview

    Interview Details

The process started off with a phone interview, which went very well. After a number of delays, I was finally called to meet with the department in a west coast location. I interviewed with a number of people in the department. I felt confident that I was more than qualified for the position and was able to answer all questions knowledgeably. But the interviewers seemed a little awkward when they finally met me face to face. I have a very strong sense that this particular Tribune division are only looking for a "certain type" to hire (read between the lines).
