Former Employee - Dietary Aide in Farmville, VA

I worked at Trinity Mission of Health & Rehab full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

If you like helping the elderly, then this is the place for you. The wages were very competitive at that time. Everyone was rather friendly. Annual raises.

    Cons

Some of the department supervisors have been in charge for too many years and can be quite biased. The pay was higher than other facilities in the area, but low when compared to the work that is expected of the employees. Annual raises are low and determined by point-percentage evaluations. No real career opportunities because people retain their positions for many years. Nursing facilities require working on holidays if not in admin.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The facility is currently under new management.
