I worked at True Action full-time (More than a year)

You will have an opportunity to work across large retail brands immersed in all marketing channels and take on and learn further from True Action's parent company GSI Commerce, (now Ebay Enterprise) to gain industry knowledge on an ecommerce platform.

The leadership (which continues to change dramatically) now falling under Ebay, does not have a true understanding of their employees needs or struggles. While this is a common complaint across the board, though I feel this company is further out of touch between senior and lower management.

    Advice to Management

Listening is a difficult for everyone, but as those in positions to speak on your companies behalf, listening to the companies needs is vital.

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at True Action.

The interview is split into 2 days. On the first night they have a dinner where you meet several interviewees. It was a nice event, especially since the ratio was about 1:1. On the next day, you start interviewing early in the morning. The process consisted of four 1 on 1 behavioral interviews and two group case presentations. I ended up withdrawing myself from consideration at the end because I didn't really think the company would be a fit. People seemed to only be working here because "it's a good place to start a career" rather than actually enjoying what they do.
