True North Gems doesn't depend on a compass to find gemstone deposits. The company is currently exploring and developing about a dozen properties, primarily Tsa da Glisza (emeralds) in the Yukon Territory, Beluga (sapphires) on Baffin Island, and Fiskenaesset (rubies) in Greenland. It also has rights to acquire interests in other emerald, sapphire, and ruby deposits in Canada. The company's one non-gemstone property is the Bandito nickel project in the Yukon. True North Gems was incorporated in 2001.
