    Application

I applied through other source. The process took 5 daysinterviewed at Tucson Unified School District (Tucson, AZ).

    Interview

I telephoned the principal and requested the job. Clearly I did not know the proper protocol. I went in for interview and we viewed photos I brought from other work with kids. It was a one on one interview which is very unusual.I was very relaxed. The principal was very kind and even made recommendations of things to see in my community. I was offered a job and accepted. I actually had another phone call that evening from another district. SO it all happened just in time.I met with HR and the processed to start began.

    Interview Questions

    • There was not any difficult question as it ended up being more of a chat about what I like to do and who I am. It really was about seeing if I was a good fit personally and shared some values.   1 Answer

    Negotiation

I didn't negotiate anything. There was no negotiating with salary or benefits with the district.
