    Pros

I started working with Tuff Shed as a Summer job throughout college. Among many things, it was the sense of accomplishment, quality of product and, most importantly, although I didn't realize it at the time, quality of people, that kept me coming back over the years. I've had opportunity to learn from and work side-by-side with those quality people gaining first-hand business knowledge in not only construction practices, but also, sales and marketing, management, recruiting, etc.

    Cons

Long, variable hours. But I like what I do and I'm a big believer in 'you get out what you put in'.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the positive changes. Like any growing company there have been frustrations due to lack of communication, incomplete or slow product roll-outs. But there is a noticeable (positive) change over the past 4-5 years in the way the company has learned from those challenges, communicated them with the team and moved forward together, that has been the most impressive.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Tuff Shed (Denver, CO) in May 2015.

    Interview

resume review > telephone interview > onsite interview

Everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable and was able to relate to the interviewers. As interview experiences go, it was a good one - stressful (as it should be) - but good.

Though I didn't receive an offer, I did get a lot of positive feedback and understand why they chose the other finalist / candidate. So, in a nutshell... good people.
