I have been working at Tully Rinckey PLLC as an intern (more than an year)

    Pros

Honestly, this law firm is one of the most honest, dedicated ones around D.C. I seriously feel inspired every day to work hard alongside these lawyers who genuinely care about their clients so much. They provide a great example of how hard work and dedication really pays off in the long-run.

    Cons

The lawyers here truly care about their clients so sometimes they forget to take care of themselves every once in a while. Other than that, like the interns before me, it's a great place to learn and grow here.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 6 weeksinterviewed at Tully Rinckey PLLC in March 2012.

    Interview Details

It was a 3 stage process that included the COO, CFO, and office managing partner - interview seemed to focus on cultural fit rather than my work experience. The inhouse recruiter did an initial phone screen interview and she appeared to be the real gatekeeper. If you get passed the phone screen the rest seemed easy.

    Negotiation Details
It was pretty fast and straight forward - they sent me an employment contract and said call with any questions. When I called for every change I wanted it would lower the salary so I picked two important issues to change and took a minor pay decrease in the hopes of a bigger bonus.
