U.S. Cellular extends all benefits to same- and opposite-sex spouses/domestic partners, as well as eligible children of domestic partners and your dependents.
Your Health and Well Being (Many benefits are available to Associates from day one.)
We offer two Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBS) PPO plans; one which includes a high deductible plan combined with a Health Savings Account (HSA). We also offer a HMO plan in Wisconsin. All plans provide100% coverage for preventive care.
Features in- and out-of-network plans by Delta Dental with 100% coverage of preventive care (e.g., routine exams and X-rays).
Our vision plan features in- and out-of-network plans by Vision Services Plan (VSP). In addition to yearly vision exams and subsidized contacts and glasses, our plan also provides a discount for laser vision correction.
Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment
We provide basic Life Insurance coverage and Accidental Death and Dismemberment plans equal to one times annual salary with a minimum of $30,000 provided to full-time associates. Additional coverage can be purchased up to 10 times salary.
Short- and Long-Term Disability
In addition to sick days, U.S. Cellular full-time associates are eligible for Short-term and Long-term Disability coverage at no cost.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
This plan allows associates to set aside pre-tax dollars for Health Care expenses and/or Dependent Care of their legal dependents. Our plan also offers a Health Care Spending Account Debit Card.

At U.S. Cellular, we are committed to offering a comprehensive wellness program for our associates that encourages them to lead more satisfying and productive lives by maintaining or improving their health and well-being. We offer wellness rewards/credits that can reduce your annual medical premium up to $630 annually.

Tax-Deferred Savings Plans
Standard 401(k) and Roth IRA plans with 100% matching up to 3%, and 40% matching for additional 2% contribution.
Pension Plan - 100% Employer Funded
Provides 3% of compensation for most associates and 6% for those who earn more than the maximum as defined by the Social Security Administration.

Paid Time Off
Full-time associates are eligible to receive excellent time off benefits, including five personal days, 10 vacation days during the first three years of service (15 vacation days after three years and 20 days after 10 years), six holidays and up to six sick days per year.
Associate Scholar Program
We recognize that the knowledge and skills of our associates are valuable assets, traits that must be relevant and honed regularly. That's why we provide support for coursework at accredited colleges and educational institutions, that leads to a work-, company- or industry-related degree. Eligible full-time associates are reimbursed at 100% of covered costs; eligible part-time associates are reimbursed for covered costs at 60% up to the annual maximum.
Associate PC Purchase Program
Employees receive a discount when purchasing a PC and related equipment through U.S. Cellular's associate PC Purchase Program.
Associate Adoption Assistance
U.S. Cellular provides financial assistance by reimbursing eligible associates for up to $5,000 for qualified adoption-related expenses.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at U.S. Cellular.Interview Details
Went through a pretty long interviewing process. First a phone interview. Then they were not sure if they wanted to consider you for the position you applied for or a management position. They took me through 2 more interviews and 2 tests to see if I was qualified enough for the management position according to their culture standards. When they realized you were better suited for the Account Manager position they continued through that interviewing process. It took at least 4 weeks in all. But it only needed to take a week or 2 for the Account Management decision.Interview Questions
