I have worked for US Water for a number of years. They treat their employees fairly and pay well above industry standards. They have very good benefits and 401K matching. They are growing extremely fast and hiring folks weekly it seems. They are for the most part the leader in water treatment. As the larger companies get assimilated by even larger companies, it is nice to be a part of a small family oriented company that cares about the folks that got them where they are. The upper management expects excellence from its field staff. Mediocre sales reps and tech reps need not apply. That is why Chemaqua & GC exist. Apply with them.
A word of caution to those that don't want to work hard prove their mettle. You won't be kept around long. One of the downsides of working in a smaller organization is that you cannot hide if you do not have a good work ethic. Those that work hard and have integrity will do VERY well with US Water. Those that don't will fail quickly.
Advice to Management
Get a better handle on the SBL's. Some of these guys are out of control and have a God-complex. They think all the sales reps work for them. Communication from them is horrible at best, mostly non-existent. They need to have their wings clipped and follow different leadership. I suspect the way they are compensated perpetuates this ME, ME, ME Attitude they carry around.
