I worked at UC San Diego part-time (more than a year)

Loved working with the array of student staff and professional staff. I worked in the Geisel Library for 2 years and had the opportunity to deliver books to various libraries on the UCSD campus and surrounding satellite campuses. It was a good experience because of the flexibility with my schedule for classes and it allowed me to make decent money.

Not a lot of cons as this is a general student driver position for the main library on campus but I will say that the vehicles we used did not have functioning AC. Nothing to complain about really.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to offer opportunity for students to do other things outside of their role. Professional development or insight on what a "real job" is like is important to students. Even if they don't realize it sometimes or right away. Good management in Geisel was always talking about life after college.
