UPMC has a great culture and most people are willing to help when you need it. The internship program was supportive and a lot of fun - even provided some opportunities to explore Pittsburgh with colleagues.

Office space was very uninspiring and not at all conducive to good collaborative work. At times the IT systems that we used were not the best for the job and/or outdated.

    Advice to Management

I did not have a lot of contact with upper management, other than hearing them speak. Most interactions with them were more like 25 interns talking to one manager. Perhaps try to split time so that there is more personal interaction.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at UPMC.

took a while to call after I filled out an online application. The interview was one on one. very straight to the point. normal interview discussed qualification, job details, and etc. HR called a week after the interview to let me know i got the job.
