I worked at US Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia

    Pros

The internship gave ample opportunity for hands-on work. There was a significant amount of one-on-one feedback from supervisors, which was both positive and negative depending on their mood that day.

    Cons

Often felt like a number rather than an employee. Structurally, they did not seem to care about any one of us in particular. If you did not get a good manager, work became very unpleasant.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a dayinterviewed at US Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia in February 2011.

    Interview Details

I was interviewed by two men at my law school. They asked me about my writing sample and the community service that was listed on my resume. Also, be prepared to answer questions about your attitude on working for free. All in all, the men were really friendly. The more questions you ask them, the better.
